How does this affect me? WaMu is my only bank in the moment, I have a simple savings and checking account. I realize that the bank is insured CIDF if money is there, but what would be the liquidation or merger of the banks immediately about me? Will I access to my money for monthly bills? the grocery store? I can put my salary? Should I seek a new bank because the risk of closure of WaMu seems more a day?
