How long does chapter 7 stay on credit report if filed January 3?
I always thought that if a Chapter 7 presented "before" all the Bankruptcy Laws change that would be fine. My question is – if someone files a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in January 2003 and is discharged in February 2003. Since this now 7 years of not being a person removed from credit report?

I tried to file for Chapter 7 today, but due to new legislation Bankruptcy think I can make lots of money also to the file.
