I am interested in filing for bankruptcy, any way I can go without representation?

I am a single mom with a toddler. I state to fend for myself and my little without assistance of any kind for long. Now I have some debts many I'm broke. I would like to file for bankruptcy, while I am also claiming assistance Gov't. Any suggestions? Web links are most useful for me.I m in Texas BTW to its laws.

yes you can, but Have you heard the saying a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client. The federal district courts have the documentation that allows you to do without a lawyer, you just completed the documentation and pay the filing fee. The opening statement I gave you is true, because you may not do anything about the statement bankruptcy and if you miss something that will cost you dearly, civil or criminal. Better to use a lawyer.

Debt settlement is used by debtors who have large amounts of debt as a way to reduce your debt without filing bankruptcy. It is often a last effort to avoid bankruptcy! A debt is when you negotiate with creditors to obtain an outstanding amount that is less than the total amount owed, and usually has to be paid in one lump sum.

Why would a lender consider an amount that is less than you owe? When you are having difficulties extreme financial, the creditor realizes that the next step is likely to be a bankrupt. When customers file bankruptcy creditor, have just received any money at all. It is better for creditors to receive the money that is less than the total amount due to receive nothing at all for the account, and often, creditors agree to settle, as is in your best interest to get some money, but not the total amount due.

What Do Debt Settlement your credit report?

After a creditor has agreed to settle with you for a price lower than what was originally, you have to send the amount in one payment. A Once the debt is "settled" the creditor then send you a letter stating their legal obligation to pay the debt is satisfied. Credit bureaus will be notified that the account and the debt has been "resolved for less than the amount," or "repeated", or "paid."

The damage to your credit report is not really the way the report of the account is paid or settled. However, the problem comes from the way a person is able to obtain payment of debt in the first place! Creditors will not agree to "settle" a debt for less than the total amount due, if you have been making payments Standard account. If your account is current and in good standing, it will not be able to pay its debt. As the account falls back and not keep up with payments, each month late or not paying, that scenario is reported to credit bureaus and is the delay in the notification that actually reduces your credit score. The report demonstrate credit are defaulting on their payments until the settlement has been completed and the creditor reports the account as being paid.

How Solving Debt-ing taxes

If the creditors agree to negotiate and settle the debt with you, keep in mind that the IRS will consider amount of forgiven debt to be taxable income. Therefore, if you owed $ 3,000 to a creditor that agreed to settle for $ 1500, then you have to claim $ 1,500 on your tax return as taxable income. (Sometimes, you may complete the IRS form # 982 and claim a special challenge to avoid paying taxes the solution).

Filing Bankruptcy In California

I live in California, if you declare bankruptcy can keep a car if you do not fall behind on payments?

It should include all debts in its petition bankruptcy, so you must include your car loan in the bankruptcy petition. The inclusion of the loan request does not mean that you will lose the car. If they are current on your payments, you can keep your car as long as you continue making payments. If you owe much more in the car than it's worth, it could be possible to do a "cram-down" on the amount owed so you only have to pay the actual value. In some states, there are companies that will contact you refinance an existing loan to do this cram-down. What happens is that you refinance your vehicle with them the value of the car. You have to pay a fee higher interest, but probably will pay less for your car. If you continue the loan with his original lender, you may be offered a reaffirmation "'Agreement. If you sign this, you agree to remain liable for the debt as if it was included in a bankruptcy. If you sign this, then do not payments to retrieve the car and legally you can sue for the balance due on the car. It will auction the car, and probably receive less than the car is worth, and you will pay the difference. If you do not sign the reaffirmation agreement, if you later decide you do not want the car, you may stop making payments and can return car without any damage to your credit below. If the car auction, you will not be responsible for the difference. No matter what, if you stop making payments, most likely repossess the car. I recommend using an attorney who only does the event of bankruptcy to file for bankruptcy. The laws have changed recently and someone who is only broken more likely to know the details of such changes. You can also file "pro se" or on his behalf, but you will not notice all the laws. The use of a lawyer to be your best bet. Many lawyers offer free consultations for the first visit. You can meet with several and then choose the one you feel most comfortable. Good luck.

Loan needed, Investors wanted. Private lender or Hard Money Lender.?

To whom it may concern,
Hello, my name is Eddie. The reason for this post is because I’m looking for a hard money loan or a loan without requirements. I need a bridge to finance a property that I want to buy and invest in. I do have a job but I don’t have good credit or assets to put down as collateral but I was hoping to secure this loan with the piece of real property that I want to buy. I don’t know if it works that way but that’s what I was hoping to accomplish. The property I want to buy is in the City of Oceanside California, San Diego County. It’s a 2bdrm. 2baths. Condo currently listed at $239,900 it’s an REO Bank Owned Property and the agent told me that the bank MIGHT take a lower offer. I was hoping to get a loan for $239,900 and then offer $200,000 and hopefully get it at $200,000 and then fix up the condo for sale in like a month or two and list it at $300,000. The condo needs some repairs but nothing major. Please help.

Why on earth would anybody post this here? If you respond to one of the people who are in here spamming for business, are you going to give out all of your personal information to this stranger?

I am sure most of the people who spam for business in here where it isn’t permitted have good intentions, they want the money. They aren’t the most ethical people, they will violate the simple YA terms of use. But what if someone contacts you, gets your information and then steals your identity?

PLEASE delete this post.
