Michigan Bankruptcy Court
Need someone with knowledge of the Michigan bankruptcy laws creditors?
Sky filed a bankruptcy, chap. July and included a debt to a attorney not do a proper job that caused the payment to seize. If the lawyer did the job right, husband of payment would not have been seized and the lawyer woulda been the pain in their entirety as if it had been before a. So now the lawyer who presented no stop sending bills as if it's supposed to do by federal law, opted for failing to appear at the meeting of creditors. What recourse is available to my husband? The assistant attorney advised me last year before the holidays customers have to court for nonpayment. This is a disaster. Mary in Beulah, Michigan
You need to speak "officially" with another bankruptcy lawyer in the state of Michigan .. to see what their rights are more accurate .. [In] an additional cost if you write a letter to your state attorney general who might be interested .. if something unethical is being done .. =========================== It was my understanding when a debt was discharged in bankruptcy court .. the entity owed money and could not communicate with the debtor, or is considered harassment. If the lawyers bill was not given due High in the bankruptcy court .. I think you can still send invoices and wages garnashee .. Does this help any?
