Legitimate Credit Counseling Organizations
nobody knows if this Consumer Credit Counseling site is legitimate?
before submitting my information, I wonder if anyone knows if this is a legitimate Web site of consumer credit counseling, I'm looking to consolidate my debt and / or find a debt solution, I just want to make sure that finding the right organization to deal with, really can not afford to get ripped off. http://www.cccs.org/default.htm one … Sorry: (what, you can not read my mind ???;)
LSS operates under the auspices of a support group affiliated with the Lutheran Church. They are members in good standing with the Better Business Bureau Consumer many other guards. LSS seems to have started in 1987 as an outreach program to help members of the parish of falling into bankruptcy, and provide planning advice monthly financial and budget suggestions. Their services do not seem to be completely free, there is a $ 40 fee that appears in most of the information I could find, and rest of the funding appears to be subsidized by creditors who are in active participation with unsatisfied basic needs. They clearly that 100% of your money is applied directly to the debt, ie (assumptively) after the amount you pay.
