Debt Relief Programs Government Grants
Loans for students and military?
Hey, just curious if anyone knows of the jumps that are not soldiers and sailors relief program that would eliminate the debt before student loan before entering the army. Any information would be helpful. To be more specific I went to college for three years before joining the Marines and owe about $ 12,000 and did not know if any grants or government aid of any kind is available for these situations.
Your best bet would be to talk to a recruiter. I can give you information on the Army, my husband took the small sign on bonus but the large GI bill where as my roommate had the great banner of bonds and small GI Bill. You should ask a recruiter if you can afford current student loans with the GI Bill. From what I understand Marines do not offer sign on bonuses, which are offered re-enlistment bonuses.
