Mortgage Debt Relief Act of 2007 DETAILS forgiveness?
My mobile home was Forcle in 2002, and this year (2009) the debt was canceled and received a 1099-C from the mortgage company. The amount of the debt was canceled almost $ 20,000 which was much larger than the house is worth. The house was my home principal at the time.
