debt relief income tax
To the relief of the debt has informed me to request an order of Debt Relief and wondered if anyone had any advice?

I have about £ 13 000 debt and have been paying a certain amount each month through CCCS. However, due to health implications, have asked me to take voluntary redundancy, although I'm not retirement age is going to retire until December. I have been advised by CCCS that I request an order from debt relief to cope with my debts instead of going into bankruptcy after working out of my income I would only have a state pension with pension creidt. I am a renter Council so get help with rent and council tax. However, if I have the redundancy payment I would like to return my son in law has lent me money in the last ten years or so now in difficulties. This probably would leave me with about £ 2,000 – would this affect the order of debt relief or who expect me to pay part of my debts to the redundancy payment.

Hello Carole, I have the feeling that you can not ask for a drug if their assets are more than 300 pounds. Definitely with the bankruptcy he wants his £ 2k, so do not go there. Try asking in the forum on the site of consumer debt, is probably the best in the UK for the award debt advice. The people there are counseling 24 / 7, while there are only passing guessers.
