I am a Marine on active duty and before I came, I had about 3 years of college. I have accumulated about 13k of student loan debt during this time. Does anyone know of any grants or government programs that could help eliminate this debt? * Not is the soldier / sailors Assistance Act …. Anything will be helpful, thank you very much!
No, you will have to pay the old fashioned way. You may have to ask repayment of the loan when he enlisted, but it did not have qualified for the GI Bill if you had. But there is a program to repay student loans of military members who have never heard of.
