Credit Counseling Mortgages
if my mom seeks Credit Counseling will our house get seized?
my mom and dad separated- they haven’t divorced in order for him to get insurance from my mothers job and other convenient stuff. my brothers and I live with my dad, in the house my dad and mom own but my dad is the one that pays the mortgage. my mom pays rent where she lives . she has over $22,000 credit card debt and she only makes $11,000 a year -after deductions. she only makes minimum payments on the credit cards. if she seeks debt consolidation services , will that affect my dad, his credit, and the house?
Your parent’s credit is independent of each other. As long as your Dad pays the mortgage, nothing will happen to your house.
