cost of bankruptcy in texas
How much would it cost to file for bankruptcy in the Great State of Texas if I were to hire a lawyer to help?

I really just need a ballpark figure.

Used to be, before Bush had the law changed, $1,300. If you can’t pay that, the lawyers take post-dated checks. As I understand how the procedure works currently, you have to go to a debt counselling course and that adds $100. Flip through the Yellow Pages. Surely there’s an ad touting a price. Cheer up. In Texas they can’t garner your wages for unsecured debt like in a lot of other places. And, good luck.

The Stimulus Package Costs $250 000 to create each job. Will Obamas Plan work?
