Long Island Grad School?
I moved to Long Island, New York (Manhasset area) in July 2008 and am looking for recommendations on schools Awards for the Masters in Psychology. I am looking for a school with a strong program and is recognized by potential employers. I will travel to this school here and I am also open to Christian schools. Also, if anyone knows what the licensing requirements are in New York from a clinical psychologist at this level would be great. I would like to continue my Ph.D. at some point, but I hope I can advocate for a control. I'm pretty sure that insurance bill can not, but that the practice under the supervision? I transfer my credits Michigan institution completes one year since then. I'm totally clueless about this area so that any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. I can not answer your specific questions, but I wanted you to know Manhasset only about half an hour from downtown Manhattan and Long Island Railroad to take you right into the city. You not only in Long Island schools accessible to you: you can also get in the schools of New York public transport. If you have a car, you can search for schools in Westchester County, NY, and southern Connecticut. These are all roadworthy. I do not know the power of these programs are, but there are doctoral programs and master's degree in clinical psychology at the following area schools, all passed through the region LI:-The City College of New York (CUNY Queens College, CUNY Hunter College), Hofstra (Long Island), Yale (New Haven, CT, then maybe a little walk)-The New School, Adelphi, Columbia University ('s Teachers College), Pace University, SUNY Stony Brook (Long Island), Fordham University (What is a Jesuit, then may be of interest) Long Island University (Brooklyn, which is geographically part of LI)-St. Juan University (I think I, is a Jesuit) (Long Island) New Jersey schools can also be an option, but the trip may be too far.
