I filed bankruptcy chapter 7 years 6.5. "I can file for Chapter 13 now?
I had a business go bad because capacity problems and my husband was unemployed after the closure of this business for over 5 months. This economy sucks! Well, the reason for the failure is first an ex-husband physically abused me and then took everything. It has nothing to do with my ability to manage my finances!
Yes he was prevented only file another bankruptcy for three years. Although, if you have to file personal bankruptcy twice in seven years, the economy is not really your problem, your ability to handle their finances is the real problem. If you file again, you can bet that you will not even be able to get an ATM card for the next seven years.
