Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Va Loans

A person can go through Chapter 7 bankruptcy to get a loan to buy a new or used car?

I'm going to go through the bankruptcy Chapter 7 of next month (November). My car has 70,000 miles and is five years and four months since I bought it in 2001 (he was 13 miles when I purchased). If I keep my car for two and a half years before trading, then I can get a decent loan after chapter 7 bankruptcy filing this month November? My lawyer told me not hurt so much because they receive a VA compensation and can garnish my wages. Please help. And if I can get a loan, what type of interest rate?

must wait until your bankruptcy has been discharged before you can apply for any type of loan but the interest rate will greater if the bank will give you a loan at all that some may not depending on whether the bank is seeking a loan
