credit counseling of america
I owe almost 70K in credit card debt. I lost my job and simply can not afford it. What cc do? Load out?

I owe reason over 70 K. My husband and I have tried to protect my credit for years, but now I am unemployed and have been for the past 10 months, we can not afford them. If I have to go for therapy of consumer debt, I not only have charged out and start again anyway using only cash. I owe amex 20K, 20K bank america, and some smaller ones. If I kept the little ones, which rises up my rates just because I was behind the others? Trying to get my options straight. The worst scenario is all. Thank you.

I file for bankruptcy if I were you. There is no point in trying to pay if they do not have the money for. Make sure you file under Chapter releasing more debt that makes you pay, without interest. I think it is Chapter 7, but I'm not 100% sure.

What is the best way out of credit card debt. No consolidation of debt companies really work?

Most business debt consolidation really hurt your credit. Your best bet is to focus on one letter at a time. Pay as much as you can on that card paying only the minimum in the other – and you pay one off payment to add that its lower side until it was worth it.

Consumer Credit Counselling Service – a charity registered in respect of debt!?

Has anyone used the CCCS for when they have been in debt – not your making yourself bankrupt and not having debts written off – you pay a fixed amount each month to this company and they send their money to their creditors Like, take seriously their debt and pay all of it off – its fair to expect that interest shall be capped and have a better life, because their money is yours. Has anyone done this or used this company – which is as it appears or is hidden bit scared!

To try to answer your question, I did an interview a few months ago for a job CCCS (didn't be selected, but that's another story.) YES! this is a very genuine free service provided by the CCCS, which will be detailed in a situation economic individuals and will help you decide on the basis of your incomings, overheads and debit levels. What plan of action is best to you, such as IVA (individual voluntary arrangements) or bankruptcy, etc. ** Please note that there is a difference between the VAT and the bankruptcy contast Full Blown and also quite large. You need to understand the differences between these two things. Bankruptcy, for example, affect the credit score immediately and Atleast 12 months since I believe it will not able to obtain a new loan for 12 months in question. VAT not affect your credit rating in the same way. ** NOTE, the CCCS is a charity registered and as such does not have a fee to its customers the help they provided. This is VERY important as there are many companies that debit bursts that only love help with their debts for a nice fat fee. Usually a% of your debit card 10% is not uncommon, the average rates for a company debt settlement is about £ 6,000. Contrast so that with zero commissions CCCS. ** No! The CCCS are very reliable and IMO make a very very good job in providing real help.

Credit Couseling

What is the best way to get information for first time homeowners grants without having to pay for information?

Am interested in buying a home for the first time and I have no time to search endlessly. However, I am wary about buying CD's that is supposed to teach where to look and how to apply for these grants. My credit is not the greatest, but I decided that having to live in poor housing and an owner who does not respond to my request for repairs is not worth the trouble. I would also like a program that offers credit couseling so if I have the luck to buy a house, I know I will not have any trouble paying the mortgage. My daughter, son and my three grandchildren currently reside with me in a three room house, with my husband and the youngest. My daughter-in-law and I are the only ones working at home. It goes without saying that space is very limited at home. I mostly concerned with the condition of the house. Having grandhchildren young, I worry that get hurt on the condition of our house.

If you live in California http://www.nehemiahcorp.org/: www.calhfa.org Check with your state or local housing and the Commission for programs as well. Most of them have on hand.
