California Bankruptcy And Credit Cards
How much does it cost to file bankruptcy in California?
I have a credit card that is high enough and a student loan. I I am unable to work due to illness and not think I'll be able to work anytime soon. I am unable to pay these off and bankruptcy seems my only option this time. I wondered what the average cost may be in California (I want a lawyer to help me, if everything is done right) in loans to students, is possible in a bankruptcy if I am considered disabled? The opportunity to return very soon, is very low due to my disability. I paid my two credit cards and loans large amounts on time every month, but when I went for my health, I was unable to continue making payments …
The average cost is 800 to 1500.00 deposit, may be more depending on your situation. Student loans are unfortunately not dischargeable in bankruptcy. You can contact an attorney in your area see what they ask. Most will have a free consultation. They will have to do the last six months of pay stubs, if any, other assets, a list of all debts and the last four years of taxes. Good luck!
