What mandate did you imply to give to Barack Obama when you voted for him on Nov 4th?
I gave him the mandate to clean up Bush’s fiscal mess of $300 billion deficits – it concerned me a great deal since such irresponsible fiscal policy eroded the value of my future pension and my 401k plan. I am a teacher and my union provides me with good pension plan and I do not want to lose my pension in Federal Treasury meltdown, like those retired teachers who lost their pensions in the bankruptcy of fiscally irresponsible city of Vallejo, CA.
And I also wanted Obama to prevent parents from choosing schools for their kids. We do not need any competition against private schools. This is also why I voted against McBush who’d proposed exactly such insane approach to education.
What kind of mandate did you have in mind when you voted for Barack Obama?
95% of people getting tax cuts. I guess he really blew that one.
