Bankruptcy Discharge?
My parents were in bankruptcy 20 + years due to a pawnshop. A few years ago, my parents were invited to make monthly payments of RM50, but not asked by the government or the bank or perhaps another officer. They have made monthly payments as they felt that would not apply if the amount they have to do is the amount plus interest for more than 20 years. How is the amount due is calculated and what is the procedure for obtaining a discharge from bankruptcy? To which I will discuss and research to help my parents??
I guess you are from Malaysia. Not so sure Malaysian law, however, if your parents have an OA (official assignee), and then shoould OA.
