Is there discrimination bankruptcy laws?

Applied for a job. I had several interviews and finally said, welcome aboard and I could start my background check was completed. I have since learned of the defeat because they cancel delivery. I never got a ticket. My references are impeccable work. And I have no outstanding debt. However, I have done 18 months ago bankruptcy. Can I be denied employment because of bankruptcy?

Depends on the job and what state in. For example, in California, only lets you use a credit check for employment decisions if the work deals specifically with money / finances. Depending strict interpretation of how this company, this may be a lot of jobs.
