ok I got divorced a year ago and our decree states that each of us is responsible. I have two car payments, etc and responsible for a loan from our two names. did not pay for the loan since May 2007 and now says it submitted its balance sheet. Will they still come after me for this balance?
I will contact your attorney to see what steps you should do to protect themselves. Since this loan was both your name will also be on your credit report in arrears. You may have to work to get this straight leg.
