After Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
What should I do if my landloard is trying to keep my deposit after the filing of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy in encore?
My landloard or apartment owner is going through a Chapter 13 bankruptcy with our apartments i live now call here is that he is giving the property the bank and that he does not have my deposit or deposits of other tenants more because supposely has no money. Everyone is saying we all lost our deposit and since we supposely they will not pay the rent, so I can pay my own because I have never been late for almost four years never late. Anyway I really wanted always know what happen to my deposit of the files after a Chapter 13 bankruptcy is that it is illegal for him just to keep it or something. Chapter 13 bankruptcy is different from normal. Chapter 13 did not abolish the debt.
