consolidation of the company insisted that the debt ceases to make payments on my credit card.?
I signed up with ABC Debt Relief and told me that although they could not tell me to stop making payments, they did recommend. I've never been late for CC payments. They said that once you stop doing the payments, the CC companies will seek to pay for all the next 6 months or less. But after a while, I put in "collections" of state and are ready to negotiate an agreement that they say can reduce 40% of all my debts. Does this sound too good to be true? Or, get Doupe to punish my credit score for the next decade?
Yes, and yes. Your credit will be damaged. You pay higher interest rates in the foreseeable future, but your life will continue. Decide on the best business decision for you! Is the short-term condition in which you are or can paralyze you cut out lunches and consolidate tasks that require driving, give to the cleaners, etc, and pay off their cards (one at a time until the balances are gone)? If you can not find another way out their current situation, then debt negotiation may be the way forward.
